Thomas P. Scrivo

Thomas P. Scrivo is a Managing Partner of O’Toole Scrivo, LLC. Mr. Scrivo is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. He is a past President of the Essex County Bar Association, former Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and former Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee. He has served as a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s District V-B Ethics Committee. He is a former adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University School of Law.

Mr. Scrivo served as Chief Counsel to Governor Chris Christie, where he led the Governor’s legislative initiatives, supervised gubernatorial appointments, and oversaw New Jersey’s Executive Branch, including all state departments and authorities. Mr. Scrivo also served as Chairman of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, an independent state agency that provides financing and tax incentives to New Jersey businesses to retain and grow jobs and revitalize communities through redevelopment initiatives.

Mr. Scrivo is the current Chair of the Board of Visitors of Seton Hall University School of Law and a member of the Board of Trustees of Sacred Heart University. He was the 2018 recipient of the Distinguished Graduate Award from Seton Hall University School of Law. He served on the Essex County College Board of Trustees for fifteen years.

Mr. Scrivo is a graduate of Fairfield University and Seton Hall University School of Law, where he served as editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. He is a member of the Bars of the State of New Jersey and the State of New York.
