Randall M. Kessler

Randall M. Kessler has practiced family law since he graduated from Emory Law School in 1988 and is the founder of Atlanta-based Kessler & Solomiany, LLC, a 30-person domestic relations firm representing a variety of clients in domestic relations matters including athletes, celebrities, professionals, business leaders, and dependent spouses or significant others.

Mr. Kessler has been a commenter on high-profile divorce and family law issues for magazines and other media outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, USA Today, The Today Show, CNN, FOX, ESPN, People magazine, and Sports Illustrated.

In 2011, he was elected to serve simultaneously as chair of the Family Law Sections of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.

He has taught family law courses for years at Emory Law School (Divorce Jury Trials, for over 10 years) and John Marshall Law School in Atlanta (Family Law, for over 10 years). Mr. Kessler is the recipient of many awards, and in 2002 was named to the Daily Report’s first On the Rise roster of lawyers under age 40 worth watching. He has been on the Super Lawyers top 100 list for over 20 years, every year the list has been produced, and has regularly been on their list of the top 100 lawyers in Georgia since that list was started.

Mr. Kessler has authored many other family law related books including Divorce: Protect Yourself, Your Kids, and Your Future (www.divorceprotect.com) and How to Mediate a Divorce.
