By appointment of the Chief Justice of the United States, he served on the Advisory Committee on the Federal Rules of Evidence of the U.S. Judicial Conference for six years (1993-99). Mr. Joseph is the President of the U.S. Supreme Court Historical Society.Mr. Joseph is the winner of the Second Annual Achievement Award of the Demonstrative Evidence Specialists Association. In addition, he has written and edited several books on evidence, trial practice and sanctions.
