Pamela J. Moore

Pamela J. Moore is a partner at McCarter & English, LLP in Hartford, and a member of the firm’s labor and employment practice group. Pam helps her clients prevent employment disputes and prevail in EEO agency proceedings and employment litigation. She has broad experience in handling all legal issues that arise in the workplace, including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, affirmative action, employment at will, wage and hour, family and medical leave, and workplace violence issues.

Pam litigates cases before federal and state administrative agencies and courts and has tried cases to a jury on executive misconduct, shareholder expulsions, non-compete violations, breach of fiduciary duty, age discrimination, employment contract/handbook claims, defamation and whistle-blowing. She also handles complex class litigation, non-compete cases, executive compensation and contract issues, and employment due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.

Pam spends a significant amount of time mentoring the associates in her group, conducting training programs for her clients, speaking at professional associations and teaching CLE. She has been recognized as a Connecticut Super Lawyer and is ranked by Chambers USA.

Pam earned her undergraduate degree in Government from Cornell University and her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
