Mark A. Shank is a partner at Gruber Hurst Johansen Hail Shank.
Since 1981, he has practiced labor and employment law and civil
trial law in Dallas, Texas, with a substantial part of his practice
centering on the subject matter of this book. Mr. Shank is Board
Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in labor and
employment law and civil trial law.
He is a graduate of Missouri State (B.S.) University of Missouri
(J.D.) and Southern Methodist University (LLM). He teaches
labor and employment law and law practice management as an
adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University Law School
and is a former chair of the labor and employment sections of the
State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association, a former president
of the Dallas Bar Association, and a former chair of the Texas
State Bar Foundation.
